A team of volunteers from Warwick and Leamington Conservatives travelled to Crewe on Saturday to help in Edward Timpson's by-election campaign.
Speaking after spending the day delivering leaflets, canvassing and manning a street stall in the town centre, Chris White said: "The sheer number of Conservative volunteers in Crewe was extraordinary - the whole Party is there. I'll be crossing my fingers on Thursday night - winning will our first by-election in nearly 30 years would be an extraordinary feat, and the reception we were getting on the doorstep in Crewe was very positive."
