Chris White today chatted to local residents in south Leamington about their concerns in the Alexandra Road area.

Speaking after spending a few hours talking to people, Chris said: "Lots of people are very concerned about crime and anti-social behaviour which is a real problem - people should be free to walk the streets without fear of being a victim of crime.  Another issue that came up a lot was vandalism of cars parked on the street, which people feel has been increasing in recent years.  I believe more emphasis needs to be placed on rehabilitation of offenders - particularly young offenders.  We need to invest in more facilities for young people to turn them away from the culture of anti-social behaviour that blights so many of our communities."
