Chris White, Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Warwick and Leamington, was delighted that local athlete Sara McGreavy won Sports Woman of the Year at last night’s Coventry, Solihull and Warwickshire Sports Awards 2007. 

Following the event Chris said: “Sara was one of a number of nominations from Warwick District, and I hope that her achievements at the European Indoor Championships in Birmingham last March will prove to be only the beginning.”
