Celebrity environmental campaigner David Bellamy today planted a symbolic English oak tree by Riverside Walk in Leamington to promote Warwick District Council's drive to increase recycling in the District. He was joined by Chris White, Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Warwick and Leamington and Cllr Michael Doody, Portfolio Holder for Housing on the District Council.
After the planting Chris said: "It's vital that we increase recycling in the District and we're very grateful to David for sparing the time to lend a hand with the campaign."
