Chris White, Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Warwick and Leamington, today listened to the concerns of local residents in and around Brunswick Street in Leamington.
Speaking after chatting to scores of residents in and around Brunswick Street, Alexandra and Waverley Roads, Chris said: "A lot of people have been talking to me about crime and how it is affecting them in and around the area - with litter, graffiti and vandalism of bus shelters being mentioned by residents. It's vital that when these incidents occur that local people let someone know - be it the police, council or their local councillors - so that trouble spots can be quickly identified. As with so many areas of Leamington there is a fantastic community spirit, with people taking the time and trouble to help each other out. That's something I believe local representatives and the government should encourage and I'm pleased to see people working together in south Leamington to tackle the growing problem of low-level crime."
